{Project of the Week} “On the Hunt”

Project of the Week: “On the Hunt” easter scrapbook page!

This is a single page layout for that most adorable easter picture! It’s made with Making Memories products, ribbon, & diecut letters. There’s machine stitching around the edges & all the flowers are 3D and glittery!!

When I found this product line, I really liked the prints. They are those traditional pastel colors, but with some pizzazz. Enjoy!

{Project of the Week} Easter Paint Can

Hi All!

Here’s the project of the week! To celebrate the beginning of Easter, I wanted to post a project I love! Here’s it’s Etsy description:

This adorable altered paint can is the perfect container to hold all those easter eggs they’ll be hunt for this year! It is also the perfect container to put easter gifts in! Can you imagine how cute this paint can would waiting for your child easter morning - filled to the rim with chocolate bunnies & jelly beans??

This paint can is an unused, clean paint can. (Paint has NEVER been inside) It does not require a key to open. It is made of high-quality metal, and covered with acid-free/lignin free papers and embellishments. The bottom layer is a patterned print paper, creamy brown with light blue bunnies hopping along. The top layer is a plaid print in matching brown, blue & cream. The middle of the can in rimmed with coordinating embellishments - layered textured papers with satin & organza scalloped ribbon. Cream buttons adorn the ribbon to give it extra detailing. The front of the paint can is decorated with three dimensional lettering, spelling “happy easter” in cream heavy-weight textured cardstock & inked in creamy brown. The lid of the paint can is covered in the same plaid paper as the top layer & is embellished with a paper sign all about easter egg hunting. The handle is adorned with an assortment different ribbons, tulle, & fabric matching all the colors of the papers & embellishments.

The inside dimensions of this paint can are approximately 5 1/4” wide and 5 3/4” tall.
The complete dimensions are approximately 5 3/8” wide and 12” tall (including handle & ribbons).

I’m Getting Published!

“Hello, My name is Jami, editor-in-chief of Scrapbooking.com Magazine. We would like to publish you in our May issue.”

Um, sure. Why not.

So I must say, I rarely, do I ever, go onto Two Peas In A Bucket [dot] com anymore. I used to use it quite often as my scrapbooking outlet. Since the business has been getting really busy, I haven’t gone on in quite some time. But lo, and behold! I go on this past week just to check in & there’s “pea-mail” waiting for me!!

I’m very excited to be getting published in an upcoming issue.

Whooo Loves You?

Every year, for the past 10 years, my best friend S.B. & I trade Christmas presents. This year, we decided on a DIY Christmas. She had been talking lately about organizing her favorite photos of her and her boyfriend…. so I really wanted to make her a mini book.

I had been thinking for awhile on the shape of the book I wanted to use. S.B. loves owls. Did I say loves? I mean LOVES owls. And when I saw this Maya Road owl chipboard book I just knew it was for her. Here are some of the photos from the owl book “Whooo loves you?”.
